Karl Schmidt-Degen started his career with the Asian Leadership Institute 2008 as a coachee. Since then, he has not let go of these topics, so in 2016 he trained as an ALI-C Coach.
“I believe that the biggest problems and conflicts we have in business and at home are that we behave unreflectively. As a result, we have many misunderstandings and communication losses. Businesses are not unsuccessful because they hire the wrong people, but rather because they do not communicate properly internally. That’s why my consulting focus is to change the behavior of people in the long term: self-reflection, interaction with each other and foresight and world view are in the focus. ”
My consulting and coaching centers on changing the behavior of people in the long term: self-reflection, interaction with each other and foresight and perspective are in focus.
His career took Karl and his family to Switzerland, China, Singapore and finally back to Germany. He worked in family businesses and large corporations in the field of agricultural machinery, waste disposal, as well as automotive and mechanical engineering.
The experience in the operative business as well as a longtime manager along with his broad knowledge base enables a unique consulting and coaching approach.
Karl enjoys moving and practicing yoga every day. He is curious about the most diverse books and teas, but especially about people and their individual stories.
